The Woodland Trainers Association is a
not-for-profit Association consisting of members from Industry, Educational Institutions and Government who share a common interest in training and development of workers in the forest industries of North America.
The Association's purpose is to provide a central organization to assist members in the design and implementation of training programs.

Association Goals:

To exchange experiences and skills between members and industry

To provide a vehicle through which common problems may be solved

To build a safety net by sharing more efficient and safer techniques

To improve quality, preparation and presentation of woodland training materials and techniques

To initiate and maintain close liason between industry and government partners

Membership in the Association is open to anyone from Government, Industry or an Educational Institution who is directly involved with the development and implementation of forestry training programs.
